We’re excited to announce that the RELIC has won the Object, Furniture & Lighting – Professional category at the IDEA Awards (Interior Design Excellence Awards).

Established by inside magazine in 2003, IDEA has grown into one of Australia’s leading independent design awards programs, celebrating excellence across 14 categories and seven Special Awards.

A special thank you to glass sculptor Peter Kovacsy, who brought our vision to life. Thank you to the IDEA jury, Axolotl as category sponsor, and to Australian Design Review for their continued support of the industry. Huge congratulations to all of the 2025 IDEA Award recipients.

A mirror that offers no reflection, Relic presents a monolithic cone with a mirror-like surface, an optical device designed to reveal the dualities within. Crafted from cast crystal glass, this brutalist creation highlights the mesmerising depth and luminosity of glass. Monumental in both scale and volume, the cast glass amplifies and transforms light into a tangible presence.
