Méne celebrates our sense of awe with the celestial. The objects appear like a lunar apparition, delicately floating in mid-air. Crafted with mouth blown glass, the collection reveals the individual and unique texture of subtly illuminated glass. Méne’s rippled form is the result of the studio’s continual experimentations with traditional optic glass blowing techniques and innovative engineering. The result is a one of a kind glass texture within every luminaire produced.
Each glass shade is mouth blown in Australia, meticulously crafted using traditional glassblowing techniques, resulting in unique and visually striking objects. The mouth-blown glass process involves skilled artisans blowing air into molten glass, shaping it with precision and finesse. This method allows for organic forms and subtle variations, making each piece in the Méne collection truly one-of-a-kind. The collection explores the dynamic interplay of light, texture, and colour, creating a mesmerising visual experience.
